The Internet is a great source of entertainment. Amidst our busy and chaotic we hardly catch on with our favourite TV shows anymore. And that’s where Internet platforms like Netflix come in. They not only offer the shows that we missed on TV but also a variety of Original web series of their own that are sometimes better than our usual TV series. And with most of us having access to the internet web series are getting very popular very fast. So here is a list of our favourite web series that you can choose from to binge-watch this weekend.

1.ATYPICAL

This Netflix original series is a comedy-drama created by Robia Rashid. The first season of the show was released on 11th August 2017. The show is about an 18-year-old boy named Sam from Connecticut, who is on the autism spectrum, announces that he wants to start dating. And how this decision affects the lives around Sam. charming show has become very popular and earned a lot of praises.

2. THE GAY AND WONDROUS LIFE OF CALEB GALLO

The Gay and Wondrous Life of Caleb Gallo is a comedy series created by Brian Jordan Alvarez, who also acted in the series. The first episode released on 4th January 2016. One can enjoy the series on youtube for free. The series is mostly praised for its humour which will never fail to make you laugh. And the acting and chemistry between the cast its just amazing. The series mainly focuses on a group of friends who are struggling actors in L.A, figuring out their sexuality and relationships.

3. BURNING LOVE

Burning Love is a scripted comedy series created by Erica Oyama. The series is a parody of reality dating competition like The Bachelor series. At first, the show premiered on Yahoo! Screen and later was picked up for television by E!. The hilarious show also earned an Emmy nomination in 2013. This show definitely worth a watch.

Broad City is a sitcom that was originally released on Voot and later was picked by the TV channel Comedy Central. Created by Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson who also starred in series, the show is based on their real-life friendship and their efforts to make it in the city, New York. The witty takes on the attempts of the twenty-something women have become one of the favourite comedy series among the audience.

Love is a Netflix original series, created by Judd Apatow, Lesley Arfin, and Paul Rust. The romantic comedy starring Gillian Jacobs and Paul Rust is about Two characters Mickey and Gus, exploring the male and female perspectives on romantic relationships. The show will make you cry and laugh and even cringe at times.

Created by Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flackett Big Mouth is an American adult sitcom that premiered on Netflix on 29th September 2017. The series is based on the upbringing of Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg in Westchester County, New York. The series shows a group of teenagers experiencing puberty with through an edgy comedy.

7. MASTER OF NONE

Master of None is a comedy-drama series that was released on Netflix 6th November 2015. Created by Aziz Ansari who also starred in the series and Alan Yang, this series has won the hearts of many with its funny and unique take on life and relationships. This critically acclaimed series has also won three Emmy awards and a Golden Globe.

8. THE GUILD

The comedy series was originally premiered on youtube on 27th July 2007, now its also available on Netflix. The series follows the lives of a gamer’s online guild and how they are so much less skilled navigating their real-life than their gaming life. Created by Felicia Day who also stars in the show, The Guild earned the applauds of many. It also won six Streamy Awards.

9. STRANGER THINGS

Stranger Things has become very popular among the audiences of all ages. The horror-science fiction web series was created by The Duffer Brothers. The Netflix original revolves around the mysteries of the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana and the lives of the people living there in the 1980s. The show premiered on July 15, 2016, and has been very successful. The series has received many praises including 31 Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations.

10. CHEWING GUM

Chewing Gum is a British sitcom. Created by Michaela Coel, who also stared in series, the series originally released on E4 on 13th October 2015, and later in the US, it premiered on Netflix on 31st October 2016. The series is about a shop assistant named Tracey Gordon, the 24-year-old restricted, religious virgin, who wants to have sex and learn more about the world. The star of this series is the performance of Coel. The show also earned her a BAFTA award.
