As Marvel‘s phase three has ended with the movie Spider-Man: Far From Home, the fans are already curious about MCU’s upcoming movies in phase four. Recently at San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige announced the next few films and TV series that will make up Phase 4 and beyond of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So on this list, we are arranging the 10 Upcoming Marvel Movies.

Phase Four

1. Black Widow- May 1, 2020:

Finally, Black Widow is getting her own movie which is said to be released on 1st May of 2020. Australian director Cate Shortland is directing the movie. Though the plot is still under the wraps, it is believed the movie will be touching the events before Marvel’s The Avengers. The movie, of course, will star Scarlett Johansson along with David Harbour and Florence Pugh.

2. The Eternals- November 6, 2020:

The Eternals has been in talks for a long time and Kevin Feige stated at Comic-Con that the movie will especially focus on the character Sersi. The movie will be directed by Chloé Zhao and the cast includes our king from the north  Richard Madden,  Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani, Salma Hayek and Jon Snow aka Kit Harington. The Eternals are powerful beings who have lived and fought the evil race known as the Deviant.

3. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings- February 12, 2021:

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is set to be released on 12th February of 2021. It will be Marvel’s first Asian-led film. The movie is based on a comics character created by writer Steve Englehart and artist Jim Starlin in the early 1970s. The cast includes Tony Leung Chiu-wai, Simu Liu, and Awkwafina.

4. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness- May 7, 2021:

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is said to be the first scary MCU film. The horror-style movie will tie directly with the Disney+ series WandaVision. The movie is going to be directed by Scott Derrickson. Both Benedict Cumberbatch and Benedict Wong will reprise their roles while Elizabeth Olsen will be playing her character of Wanda.

5. Thor: Love and Thunder- November 5, 2021:

Most of the fans already know about this one. Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder will mark the return of  Natalie Portman in the Thor series taking on the mantle of Mighty Thor. Also, Valkyrie played by Tessa Thompson will be the first LGBTQ superhero in the MCU films.

6. Black Panther II- May 6, 2022:

Another movie that is in the development is the sequel of the blockbuster Black Panther. The movie will be directed by Ryan Coogler and set to be released on May 6, 2022.

7. Blade:

The one that took everyone by surprise was the announcement of Blade. The entry of Mahershala Ali as Eric Brooks / Blade was just cherry on top. Nothing has been revealed about the movie except that it won’t be a part of phase four.

8. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 :

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was assured long ago. Not much has been revealed about the plot of the movie except it was said that filming will begin in 2020.

9. The Captain Marvel sequel:

The Captain Marvel sequel was another film that was expected. The movie is said to explore the time gap between the end of the first Captain Marvel film and Danvers’ next appearance in Avengers: Endgame. The movie might also explore the character, Kamala Khan or Ms Marvel.

10. The Fantastic Four Film:

At the Comic-Con Feige also announced that Fantastic Four will be joining MCU soon. After the not so good run of the previous Fantastic Four movies, this one will be something to watch out for. Feige also announced an X-Men movie, the Ant-Man and the Wasp sequel and a Deadpool movie.
