1. Valley of the Ten Peaks, Alberta, Canada:

Located in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada, the Valley of the Ten Peaks is well known for its picturesque beauty. It is famous for its ten peaks along with its scenic turquoise Moraine Lake. Its smallest peak is Mount Perren which is around 3,051meteres. You can hike up to the mountains while observing the beauty of its surrounding.

2. Red Stone Valley & Jiuzhaigou Valley, China

China’s two of the most beautiful valleys are the Red Stone Valley and the Jiuzhaigou Valley. The Red Stone Valley is located in Mount Yuntaishan Global Geopark. Dotted with dramatic rocks and majestic waterfalls, this valley not only attract tourist but also geologists, due to its importance and appearance. The Jiuzhaigou Valley, on the other hand, is the most picture perfect place you can visit in China. Located in China’s Sichuan province, here you will see mountains covered with ancient forests and lakes with crystal clear multicolored water.

Located on the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia, Valley of the Geysers is a geyser field consisting of the second largest number of geysers in the world. Geysernaya River is flooded by the geothermal waters flowing from a nearby stratovolcano in Kikhpinych. You can only reach the valley through helicopters but it surely worth it.

6. Landmannalaugar, Iceland:

Located in the Fjallabak Nature Reserve in Iceland, Landmannalaugar is situated at the edge of Laugahraun lava field. The valley is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and its famous for natural geothermal hot springs. With lava fields, you will also find crater lakes, Hekla volcano, and vibrant rhyolite mountains. It offers a range of hiking trails for tourists. Another valley that you can visit in Iceland is the Thorsmork valley. The Valley of Thor is situated between the glaciers Eyjafjallajökull, Mýrdalsjökull, and Tindfjallajökull, consisting of lush green plants and rocky mountain and scenic views.

7. Romsdalen valley, Norway:

The 60-kilometer long valley in Norway runs through the Møre og Romsdal county and Oppland county. And the Raumabanen railway line and European Route E136 highway both run through the valley. This is an ideal place for rock climbers. The Romsdalen valley is the valley of the Rauma river, from Old Norse Raumsdalr.

8. Barun valley & Khumbu Valley, Nepal:

The Himalayan valley situated at the base of Mt. Makalu is one of the most beautiful valleys in the world. Set inside the Makalu Barun National Park, the Barun Valley is home to some of the most pristine mountain ecosystems and rare species of plants and animals. The basin here was created by River Barun that turns into a glacier in winter. The valley starring rocky cliffs and the roaring, 300m-­high Staubbach Falls is one of the best places to visit in Switzerland.

The Nubra Valley, a high altitude cold desert, is located on the Tibet Plateau, drained by the confluence of the Nubra and the Shyok rivers, a tributary of the Indus River.
